Mandriva will not start

Evening HF citizens…

One is very utterly upset. :frowning:
This is completely out of the blue. :confused:
I am sure it is something I did but for the pathetic life of me I do not know what… :x:

Basically, Mandriva starts loading and hangs. So I press Esc for verbose and it gets stuck on laoding ‘cups’. Why, Where, when? :swear:

I can boot into failsafe but ahsamedly do not know what to do in command line?

Help???

[COLOR=“Blue”]Update: Logged on in failsafe and disabled cups (chkconfig cups off). However I also noticed that the system takes a long time to go passed [COLOR=“DarkGreen”]‘NFS statd’ What is it and does it need to start with all the other “stuff”? At least I can manage to log on and start KDE…
