Gates was the chief egghead at MS. Ballmer is the cheif demonic overloard of MS. It doesn’t seem like he has a grasp on the technical aspects…which means he could really drive MS into the ground by trying for the money only aspect. With Gates going away, I think Ballmer left alone will drive the company into the ground in short order.
