hi guys my friends computere was slow so he deleted some stuff off the desktop and he restarted his computer now when he restarted it it came back blue nothing else i dont know what wrong with it can ou help? its running on xp

A blue error screen?
A plain blue background with icons?

Can you access SAFE MODE?
If so see if it happens there!

let it boot past the bios and press F8 rapidly, you will then get some options asking how you want to boot…Normal, Command Prompt etc. There will be one saying Safe Mode, select this and press enter, see what happens and report back here we may be able to help a little more.
