Does anyone know if this motherboard is all its cracked up to be

ive been told that you need a good motherboard if you have good cpu, ram and gpu, so can anyone help me out?
it seems a little pricey, but then again it doe appear to have everything, so, it does seem to be a decent mobo
Donkey’s right… its pricey but it supports all the best stuff. The fastest ddr2, quad core cpus, huge FSBs (though I dont know what the fastest quad core fsbs will be)
The only thing that kinda surprised me was the 12month warranty.

That’s standard. If you register it, you should get a few more years added. The nForce 680i SLI is a very high-end chipset, and any motherboard equipped with it will not be cheap. Having said that, I’ve been hearing that there’s some issues with the 680i chipset regarding stability. It’s a new chipset, so there’s always bound to be a few teething problems, but it seems a bit high for what it’s worth. If your dead set on SLI, you might go with a slightly older nForce 500 series chipset motherboard, like the Asus P5N-SLI.
from what i’ve read and heard, its really nice. Well it really nice if your going to put some serious hardware on it, and a really good buy if your into over clocking.
