Quad? I’d have to have lots of $$$ and probably be part of the royal 1337n355 family. Then again, I need more rigs so I can make even more use out of my 16-port switch.

Well - and that’s a guess - an opteron 850 probably costs around $1500 cad. You need 4 so it’S $6000

My guess is it costs around $1000 each. 1000 x 16 = $16000 + $6000 = $22000 :eek:
Now you need a monitor, keyboard/mouse, 2 or 3 psus, etc.

I was planning to slap f@h on around 70 computers where i work, but we’ve been having network problems so i’ve left it till we are all clear of other problems before i slap it on..
