My Computer Won't Boot

I had my harddrive from my computer in my Xbox so i had my computer sitting there for a while. Well today i got in my new harddrive for my xbox. So I formatted and installed Windows Xp on my old drive using my sisters computer. The harddrive worked on my sisters computer. I also tried it on my dads computer and it worked. So i went and hooked it up to my computer and it wont boot. I get a black screen with a little blinking white line on the top left side and nothing else. what can be the problem?

Go in the BIOS and make sure the boot sequenece (Advanced Chipset Features) is set to: 1) Floppy 2) CD-ROM 3) HDD0 and make sure no floppies(if you have any) or cds are in any of the drives. Also, you can check if your cables are well plugged in and test other cables in your system.

I turn it on and it goes throught the screen were it shows COMPAQ all big and it has (F1=setup) (F10=System recovery). By pressing F1 is that where that (Advance Chipset Feature) should be?

Most likely.

Ok I do that and It goes to PheonixBios Setup Utility then I go under ADVANCE and it shows te following:

Plug and Play OS
Reset Config. Data
Primary Video Adapter
Local Bus IDE Adapter
Large Disk Access Mode
Legacy USB Support
Onboard LAN Control
Onboard LAn Boot ROM

Security
I/O Device Config.
Onboard Audio Option
Hardware Monitor

What do I Do?
