My Mic is coming through my speakers!

hi i have a 5.1 surorund headphones and it came with this mic connector thing. headphones are called turtlebeach ear force HPA and they are connected to X-fi Platinum with the green. orange, black, and pink (mic) and are plugged to the sound card directly. the problem is when i want to talk to some1 online i can hear myself come through the speakers and also say i am watching a movie while talking they can hear my voice AND the movie! pretty much anything i hear they hear. heres a pic of my current settings…

Just mute your microphone jack when you don’t need to use it.

i know but when im playing a game i can heer myself clicking the mouse and it is annoying. like on my desktop mic (which sux) i am able to hear just the game and they can heer me. i want it so they heer me and i cant heer myself.

Mute the microphone in the volume control, it stops mic input from going to speakers.

Check in the audio settings of the game.
