Ok in the packaging it contains the card its self and it also has lots of wires, on the anti static bag it says..
“Stop!(Red pentagon), you must connect this graphics board to the computers power supply. Please refer to the getting started guide for installation instructions”
I honestly dont have a clue what to do and it gives a small visual picture of where to connect the wires but i cant find the connections in my computer wtf?
P/S… Getting started guide is not on the installation CD
it means that you have to connect your card directly to your power supply.
just put the card into the agp slot, then there will be a 4 pin molex connector either at the end, or on the side of the card.
then just find a spare molex connector on you power supply and connect it straight to your card
Though this is entirely true on many cards ATI seems to use a special cable as I’ve had experience with their X800GTO and it required a different kind of cable entirely (not included with standard powersupplies).
What’s the second one down? Your video card is the second one down on the list (which oddly enough is a HIS PCIe card, not what you bought). Sorry I’m a little slow today.
