Hi, If I’m playing my sounds thro’ the hi-fi is it still affected by the sound card i’m using? Will upgrading the card make my music noticably different? Not even sure what i have installed as standrd…
Most soundcards now are good enough to be played at a high quality, so even onboard sound will sound good.
If you do have problems, you always have the option of a cheap PCI sound card which should do very well.
