Network wireless adapters

Hi

I was just wondering if anyone knew wheather itt matters what type or make of wireless adapter you buy for your router or should anthing work

I have a Netgear DG834GT router.

The wireless card must be able to support WPA encryption, at a minimum of 54mbps speed. WEP encryption is very weak, and WPA or WPA2 is much stronger.
