Hi, i am going to build a new pc.
I’ve researched all components etc and wondered will they all work together properly? The list is as follows;
Antec Nine Hundred PC case
Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe WIFI-AP AM2 mobo
AMD 3800+ single or 4200+ X2
1/2GB or PC2-6400 RAM
Western Digital Raptor 74GB
Windows XP/Vista
And the graphics card is a big decision, would the nVidia 8800 work on it?
Is that a perfectly pheasable PC setup or is there a problem, please reply. Thanks
What is your Budget? Because Intel Core 2 Duo has taken lead amongst all the processors… Also 8800GT/GTX are on the top of all the nvidea graphics cards atm…
NO PSU u have mentioned there…another part u need to have a look.
Ah, i already bought the PSU, Seventeam 550w SLi capable. I am loyal to AMD as silly as it sounds so Intel is no go even though they have the edge with their CPUs. Thanks
I do not think that you will be able to run 8800’s in SLI with that PSU so in the future just be mindfull that you shouldnt just slot in another 8800 before you get a better psu. But otherwise its a sweet rig.
