I have said this so many times before but I am going to do my damnest to stick to it (sort of nearly new year’s resolution).

I have a great guy at work who seem to be happy to mentor me towards Unix apprenticeship. So I am going to start with some reading material and hopefully with the guy’s help maybe move on to practicals.

I really want this to work as you never know… maybe a new occupational direction?

We’ll see… fingers crossed.

Any tips or suggestions are warmly welcomed…

ebooks are good, I’ve downloaded a lot of them from unconventional sources ;). Ask AT when he’s back from holiday for an account on his home FTP server.

I had one and lost my details. But there is enough material on his main page anyway. I have already bookmarked the Intro document and will go back to it as often as humanly possible… :wink: :wink:
