Well I was over at the Sapphire website to get some tech support and decided to take a look at their press section. Here are 2 things I thought might peak some people’s intrest:
http://www.sapphiretech.com/vga/blizzard.asp -This uses some kind of revolutionary “liquid metal cooling”. I doubt it is liquid metal but I think it might be worth looking at.
http://www.sapphiretech.com/pressrelease/x550-release.pdf -Looks promising for the bargain type cards. Gives you something between a X300 and a X600.
Liquid metal? Looks like they just watched Terminator 2, should overclock like there’s no tomorrow though.
As for the X550 it’s a good buget chip but neither the X300 or X600 series were very impressive sadly so I’m having my doubts.
Well it isn’t made to impress. Just to get the job done.
