i got a new graphics card but it dosent fit into my mb.
was a gainward nvidia goes like hell 6800gs pcx 512mb
i think it needed a pci express slot??
my mb is just a standard one,
could someboady tell me if this is why the card didnt fit?
and also recommend another powerful card but without the pci express bit

Most likely. PCIe doesn’t fit into the AGP slot.
You can get the 6800GS in AGP version, it’ll most likely be a little more expensive than the PCIe version.
