Woohoo, finally ditched my job in Radio Astronomy! :good: Now I’ve got one with a substantial raise in pay, as the lead Tech at a manufacturing plant. Cheers!

The new job is at a company called FTI. It’s really great so far, co-workers are good, minimal politics, and the pay is also much better. The pay’s also on time, and in the correct amount, which is more than I can say for good old LCER. To answer your question, yes, there are way too much politics over there. Let’s just say you can’t really advance or get any respect if you’re not related to/sleeping-with management. :mad:
