Not sure where to put this, so I am posting this here.

OK, so my computer has been having a lot of problems, i think it is about 6 years old. I was hoping someone could help me find a good prebuilt computer. The questions i have are:

  1. Where should i buy one? The Best Buy store I go to or Newegg.com?
  2. What parts should i focus on? I mean what specific parts should i look for?
  3. Also keep in mind the budget is probably up to $500, or around there.
  4. I am using it for email, videos, music, forums, writing papers, (microsoft word), but i wouldn’t mind being able to play one or two of the upcoming MMORPGs, but i guess that might not be possible with my budget.

Well what do you currently have with the current system as far as that hardware and the operating system. That’s going to determine how we go on the hardware front? The more we can salvage, the better.
