Spending $400-500 is alot to blow on a graphics card for many of us, so a $150-200 video card will be alot easier to swallow. Additionally, the 6600GT is SLI capable…more gaming goodness. Anyway, nVidia is looking to put up a new mainstream champ here.
Looks sweet. It was only a matter of time before they did this and i hope this will crush the price of the older cards even more. my friend is still surviving with an ati rage card!
Yup. They might’ve let down their guard after doing very well against the GeForce FX line. As it is, their mainstream card, the X600 is more or less the Radeon 9600XT in PCIe format, which isn’t terrible, but a bit on the low-end for a newere mainstream card.
