its a very good case, those photos are abit old and blurry, i’ll take some new photos tonight when i get back, of my new dual monitor setup + a clearer look inside my case.
Ex…its been awhile since I’ve seen your set-up…looking good :good:
After, I get home from work I post up some of the latest pics of the Beast :dsmile2: I took last night after the re-wiring job…
Argon is my file server. I had to reglue the window on top with some silicon-based sealant.
Cobalt is my main box…and where I type up stuff. Not a whole lot of modding on it, but I did do the door mod to it. I have a cathode in it, but didn’t feel like turning it on.
I’d love to have my main rig cleaner inside, but with all the drives I have and that I’m particular about having everything on it’s own cable, there’s only so much I can do.
Solanis is my primary backup/LAN box. It’s probably the mod that I’m the most proud of. The grill in front looked cool as is, so I left it. The plastic front, where I have a couple of green LED fans had to be cut away for the fans to do their job.
The faux pipes on top were bought at wal-mart and slapped on for the hell of it.
Heavy modding…kinda sorta. I need to get a new dremel since the one I had blew up.
More on Solanis:
The case was original white, but after a cat took a leak on it, I figured I’d mod it. It was supposed to be black, but due to the wind outside with the clear coat, I got a slick color.
Last shot of Solanis. Closed up and the cathode on.
Whisper. Last box. I need to pull off the front bezel and paint it. The top window is spaced back with some heavy duty mounting strips.
This side panel took forever to cut out with a dremel. I printed off the image for the silhouette, cut it out and carefully outlined it. Then I did my cuts.
As you can see, there’s a good reason I want to paint the front bezel.
This is the only case where I’ve painted the inside of it. I tore it apart to do this. I’ve got dual UV cathodes in this one. The wiring isn’t as good, but with the side panel on, you don’t see it.
