does anyone know if i am able to open a OSX disk image file in xp in order to access the file within?
You should be able to if its an iso using a program like ISOBuster.
Why have you got an image file anyway? why dont you just use the cd?..
its not a ISO, its in .DMG format (i think). its a password protected image file i created when i was using a apple powerbook, so no original cds im afraid.
Oh, a password protected file..
you made ![]()
Check to see if Winrar will open it, i think that will.
Try Magic iso, ISOBuster and PowerIso, they can usually open more than ISO’s.
DMG2ISO (changes it to ISO)
Also try CDMage.
I think if you change it to .iso you can still use it normally, also i think that you could maybe mount it with daemon tools and look at it
im having sum trouble using dmg2iso..
ive downloaded it, expanded it, but wen i click it a brief screen flashes on the screen then disappears, it appears the prog hasnt run or has opened and closed.what am i doing wrong?
start > run > type “cmd”
then type “dmg2iso.exe <filename.dmg> <filename.iso>”
