Over Frequency

Hi, I am trying to install a new pc game on my windows xp, and i keep getting the following message Over Frequency H94 OKHz V144. OHz
The game installs well until i click to play and then the screen goes black, a few seconds later the over frequency message appears.

I have checked the system requirements and it looks ok for my computer.
hope someone can help.
thanks

What game is it? Is it just one game or all games?

initially i’d say the game is producing images that are “out of range” for your monitor, what is make & model of monitor

it’s a childrens game called little robots and it’s only on this game another game i bought today is fine

i know this sounds a bit daft but where would it say the make of model of my monitor

probably on the back, you know Sony, CTX, Samsung or is it rebranded OEM

i wouldn’t think a kids game would be so grfx intensive

all it says is model number 1769OSD TIME

Insert that game and When you get that error, switch off your computer and switch on again. (It looks weired but I searched on the net and come out with this.)

My thoughts are that the game, for whatever reason is trying to run a resolution or refresh rate that your monitor cannot handle, which is most likely why you’re getting the ‘out of range’ error. I’d look for a patch for that game.

your monitor is a rebranded OEM, will try to find the actual manufacturer
