I simply have this problem with my PC, almost since I have bought it, it freezes from time to time on operations like anti-virus scan or games some time. It have been happening even more on XP
I run right now.
Windows Vista 64 Ultimate
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83 GHz
ASUS Rampage Formula
Asus Geforce GTX 280
Hitachi 2TB HDD,
I don’t remember memory right now (but definably it is DDR 3 1333)

Try memtest to see if your memory is faulty. If it is, try to pull out one of the memory modules (if you’ve got more than one, that is
) to weed out the faulty module. If the memory checks out fine, you’re gonna have to see in BIOS if the RAM timings are OK.
Thank you, I have to try it. but first to buy floppy drive as I don’t have one in my PC and I think that it is required for this program.
hmm, don’t think you need a floppy drive, just download the ISO and burn to CD.
I got some solution, I have change the memory clocking speed (lower it down) now my PC do not freeze completely. only get blue screen 
Should I lower down the speed even further ?

Your memory isn’t getting optimum voltage!
Take out one of your memory modules and check the rated voltage, reinstall the module into your PC and enter BIOS and change the DRAM voltage to match the memory module’s rating.
If this doesn’t solve the problem I will eat my hat!
