DesktopLinux.com launched its 2006 Desktop Linux survey on August 21, asking users of Linux desktops to identify what distributions they use, as well as their choice of windowing environment (KDE, GNOME, etc.), web browsers, email clients, and Windows-on-Linux solutions.

CentOS w KDE…I really hate Gnome.

[SIZE=“2”]Smart choice for a stable desktop, especially since CentOS 4 will be fully supported until well after 2012. That said, how does it perform as a desktop? (I’m running it on my servers, and the only thing I don’t care for is the fact that you’re forced into using the ext3 filesystem). Also, have you added the DAG repo yet?[/SIZE][/ot]

Found my winning combination - Debian w KDM and KDE.
