POST after about 10mins

MOBO: ECS K7S5A CPU: AMD DURON 1.1G

My computer got a weird problem, I works fine before.

Every time I turn on the power, I have to wait 8-15 mins to hear a beep and the computer begins to POST. After the computer startup, it works just fine.

Since the computer works fine after startup, I do not think any component got problem.

How can this happen? It works fine before.

Please help.

NOTE: 1. I have tried to remove every peripharals (only leave cpu, ram, videocard) and the problem still exist.

     2. Reset CMOS, the problem still exists.

I think it might be having some trouble detecting a device? try setting the default BIOS settings.

It could be that your CMOS battery is stale. You might replace that and see if your results change.
