im connected to the internet through university wireless thing but i cant get things like webcam, online gaming and music download working. my firewall is off so i think it might have something do with proxy. i had to change alot of wireless settings to gain access to the internet. nobody around the university really has a clue and i know other ppl gettin these things working

I’m afraid your description is more than a little vague. If I were you I’d hunt down the network administrator and ask them what you need to do. For us to help we’re going to need more info :frowning:

Maybe i should have mentioned (if its any use) that proxies are set on an individual basis for each application you use.
