PS3 and HDMI problem

I am having problems connecting my PS3 to HDMI. It just won’t connect.
I already pressed the power button until it beeps to reset it but still not working.

Any ideas?

Have you checked if your TV/screen has HDMI selected? Are you able to test if the HDMI cable is working properly?

I have tried 3 different HDMI cables, tested it with another TV, still not working. I did an online search about this, it seems that this is a known issue and the fix varies. Tried some of them but still… Unfortunately, it is past the warranty period.
