radeon 9600se Help!!!!!!!!!

i,m having a problem with my video card everytime i start a 3d app or 3d game game it kicks the video signal any help would be appreciated

System Specs
KT6V msi mother board
512 Kingston ram
radeon 9600se 128Mb ram
athlon 2500+ Cpu
SB live sound card

PS i tried the video in another machine and it worked fine and all my drivers are up to date

Also please be more specific, what exactly dooes “kicks the video signal” mean?

it,s a 400 watt but a cheapy and what i mean is everytime i fire up a game the screen either goes pixalted or it,s like the monitor just shuts off to stanby mode

How long’s this been going on? If this is a new card, I’d exchange it.

I think it’s a bad motherboard. I’ve had a couple MSI kt6v’s and another member here has the same problem with his. I think it’s just a faulty motherboard. Can you try your parts in a known working motherboard?

this problem only started when i upgraded the video drivers to the 5.4 then i did a fresh reinstall but the problem still remains and i tried the vid card in another machine and it worked fine
