Recommendation for this PSU

I was surfing on the net and lookin at the trademe website and come across with this PSU unit. its on NZ 23$ at the moment. Its looking very powerful 480w. Is it worth getting it? How much does it worth? I go for it or not?

Dont ask me the requirements because its for my future PC. I am collecting Parts.

I wouldn’t want one in a high-end rig, but they are stable, durable and reliable PSUs for all but the latest PCs. I have a Thermaltake Purepower 420w with the exact same amperages sitting in the retail box just a few feet from me, so I’d say if you need a good PSU as a replacement for an existing PC or if you want a spare for a new or refurbished PC based on a socket 462 or 478, go for it.

For any Athlon64/Opteron or S754 Sempron or LGA775 setup, no.
An older Athlon/AthlonXP or Socket 478 system, that should be fine. The only exception would be if it’s a Prescott-core in S478 form, and I would classify it alongside the new-gen LGA775 stuff.

I will not buy this one if it is not good for the New computers~!

Thanx for your reply guys~!
