This might be a dumb question but I appreciate and answer. My computer has been freezing up lately and I was thinking of using the recovery system it has on it to get back to factory sent. My question is I have recently add more memory and dvd drive will this be affect if I do or will the computer automatic know that these thing are there.
RAM and optical drives won’t be affected so you should be fine.

Can you elaborate further? Maybe you don’t have to go through all that trouble reinstalling Windows?
