Hi, in GUI mode, installation never seems to start, or i gotta keep clicking for it to slowely progress but it take forever and never finished, anyway, i try text mode, seems to go fine, then i get this error, it seems the disk its on is full, but i just checked, it only used 8gb so far out of the 14.9gb partition.
See the release announcement here. It was released on January 7th. What CD burning program are you using? If you are using K3B, then it checks the checksums automatically. I have never done it manually myself. I know that you can do it via console with this command:
md5sum name_of_iso
Under windows you can use something like md5summer.
an md5 sum is not a file but a mathematical summation of the total file size. You must run an md5 ‘summer’ to calculate the value and then compare it to the one on the website link I gave above. Here is an explaination. All it does is verify that the file is absolutely identical to the original and therefore not corrupt or missing pieces.
