Hi peepl! I need some help, I have a mainboard: ASUS A7V600-X, and I am trying to install a SATA Hard Drive, I did everything following the instructions and in the end the actual Hard Drive is visible in the Device Manager → “Device is working properly” - But, I have no access to it. It is also visible to VIA RAID TOOL - basically it is visible but not usable. What am I doing wrong?

It’s possible that the drive hasn’t been formatted. You cannot use a brand new drive, straight from the factory without formatting it.
For XP, go to Control Panel>>Administrator Tools>>Computer Management>>Disk Manager, and you will see the disk there, right click and choose to format it. Do a full format, and you should be able to access it.
