First, a small scene setting. I recently got a Spectrum Fan Card and decided to install it tonight. I switched my PC off and disconnected the Power Cord, I then but the Fan Card into an empty PCI slot and connected a power cable to it, I then switched on the computer, the card worked perfectly but I got an error just after the option to enter the BIOS that says:
g System missing
Press any key to restart
When I press a key it just gives the same message a few lines down. I’ve tried taking the Fan card out, removing the sound card, switching to a different graphics card but all have been met with the same message, I tried inserting the WinXP CD into the DVD drive to see if I could boot from it but it didn’t even get to the menu of boot options before I got the error.
I really have no idea what to do, all options I can think of don’t work, can somebody help me please??
