Hi all,

I’ve had to wipe my Hard-drive and re-install my windows XP disk lately. It’s a few years old, and is on Service pack 1, so i’ve downloaded the service pack 2 from the Microsoft website, but now can’t get back onto the net. The modem is working fine - something thats occred on the re-start when I installed service pack 2.

I can access the web in safe mode(with networking) but not in normal start up…?!?

Any Ideas…?!
Could I download service pack 2 in safe mode with networking, and proceed from there…?

Does everything else work ok ? Check your firewall settings.. And check your security settings… What browser are you using to get onto the net..
