should i add 120 to this case?

hey, i have Newegg.com - Once You Know, You Newegg
this case, i have a 120 in the back and an 80 on the side, in the front bottom it looks like i can fit a 120, can i and should i? thanks

If you can yes, it’s a good idea to have a front fan to suck cool air in and blow it over the HDD’s.

Basically, anywhere you can put a fan you should, and the bigger the better. Not only will it move air but it will actually be considerably quieter than an 800 mm.

i was just wondering if it would work, cause the location looks like it wouldnt get any air flow at all, idk where the air would come from for down there

It will get air flow and to a very important area - the HDD(s).
Ultra important!!!

Go with what max said.

my HDD is at like 27c, can it get much cooler with a fan added?

No but it’s good to have as much airflow over your HDD as possible, plus having a good fan at the from helps with overall case cooling and airflow.

lol 800 mm, thats a funny typo, i think, if it is a typo you ment 80mm right

swansen, how does you Sli 7600GT’s run, whats your FPS on games?

oh man i have no clue what my general fps is, i be glad to tell you if i knew, send me a pm.

Frames Per Second

I think he meant he doesn’t know what FPS he is getitng, not what FPS is.

If you want to be safe do this.

Only kidding.

I too would suggest putting the fan on, more the merrier

ha ha ha ha lol thats really funny

The way this case is looking, it doesnt even require a fan coz its open from everywhere~!..lol

Its actully glass all around. and believe it or not the fan closes into the case, so its all sealed, I see where your coming from though, it does look like an open case :x:
