SLI and Multiple Monitors

Through a single GPU with dual out connections, its possible to run a dual monitor set up. but my question is out of curiosity but is it at all possible that when running two top end GeForce SLI compatible cards in one system. that is a combined 4 out connections. Is it possbile to have a QUAD monitor set up throught such? or no? of course takin into consideration memory, proccessor and motherboard performance.

It is possible with SLI disabled, with SLI enabled you’ll only be running 1 monitor.

if sli is disabled then how is it possible to run two GPU in one system.

SLI is connected using a connector on 2 cards, but to actually utilise the SLI function/technology you have to enable it, most new motherboards (don’t have any experience apart from readgin up on them) allow you to do this with software/the BIOS. Older boards required you to press a switch on the motherboard itself.

SO have the cards connected and actually having SLI enabled are two different things.

ohh ok that clears up that subject a bit more for me. Thanks for the information.
