Does anyone know about any good screen recorder software similar to snagit and either cheap or free? I will really appreciate if someone could help me out here.

presumably you are refering to a screen printer, if you use + or + , one takes a snapshot of the entire destop & one takes a snapshot of the active window & copies it to the clipboard, so, you can just open Paint and paste, obviously after you have taken the snapshot
BTW: is this what you wanted ?, & presumably your OS is XP SP2

I know one such program.
I have recorded few videos of myself and now I just play them on skype using fake webcam at my workplace. None of my chat buddy could figure out that its not me but just a video:)
