If this program you’re using takes screenshots in a different format, you could open that file in Paint or other graphical software and save it in gif format.
Brilliant !!! Thank you RHochstenbach
(why did i not think of that

Hi MrTwister ![]()
OK i will try that and thank you for the link :good:
if your using XP[ot]i think you are[/ot] & <Print Screen / SysRq> = copy active window contents to clipboard, & = copy entire desktop to clipboard[ot]like your system pics in gallery[/ot]
Edit: your Firefox problem
Session restore
Fx 2.0 only: As a blogger and web mail user, it breaks my heart to recount how many times I’ve composed a long post or email message, then accidentally closed the tab or browser and lost all my work. No more! With Firefox 2, set the browser.startup.page key to 3 to restore your browsing session - with form entries intact! - every time you start your browser or undo close tab after a wayward click. Note: By default, Firefox 2 automatically restores your session if your browser crashes - but this does it every time you restart your browser normally. Thanks for the tip, Arun!
* Key: browser.startup.page
* Modified Value: 3
* Default: 1 (open your specified homepages)
BTW: start by entering
about:config
in the address bar

Right i have just loaded (faststone screen capture 5) om a mag front disk its free) and this looks quite good and it can snap dropdowns in jpeg , gif, bmp, tif, and pdf and has a floating Capture Panel that can be dragged “see pic”

I like Maxthon and one thing you can set each tab to refresh at a different time “see pic”
