sony handycam

Hi, I have a sony handycam. The recorded mini disc I have been able to play on my computer with microsoft multi medea but I have now re formated the discs and re-recorded on them but now they do not play in microsoft multi medea but do play back on the camera screen. Anyone any ideas why and how to solve the problem.

which format does the handycam record in? have you tried updating windows media player?

Thanks for information, I will update MMP but any ideas how I find the format it has recorded in as I have tried several areas of the menue on the camera without success.

which model is it? would be best to have quick look on google.

Hi, the model is dcr-dvd105. I will also look on google.

You can also try [google]videolan player[/google], see if that can play your files.
