I have tried to install the SB Live! Value driver from Creative but when I execute the installer, it starts to extract its files, says it is preparing InstallShield, and then quits. I have a Dell and downloaded a driver from them for the same card. It does a similar thing by stopping execution before it even installs itself. What’s going on here?

u can try extracting it with winrar or winace and then run setup
u have tried downloading it again right ?
The files extract the way they are supposed to, and I have downloaded the creative drivers from two locations. They all quit during the installation process.
but still try to extract with winrar or something and then look for the drivers in the folder so u can install then manually
they could be in a cab file so check that also
if u cant find it give me a link to the file and i will try to get the drivers so u can install then manually and then email the files to u
my bad, I was too lazy to properly crack open the case and check the model on the card. I got it to work.
