Surround Sound Question~

I’m trying to get surround sound to work on a tv, dvd player, and gamecube.

The surround sound system and dvd player is a Prima HT-8104.

So far I can only get surround sound to work on the dvd player because it is hooked directly to the sub. Will an amp fix this and enable surround sound on all my devices?

Can you take the output of your TV/Gamecube from ur DVD player(which is already connected with ur sub n all)???
