Kaffeine 0.8.4 came out quite recently, and I couldn’t beleive they had implemented a feature that I requested on the Kaffeine IRQ channel! Basically I was after some DCOP calls, so my Hauppauge remote control could navagate the Kaffeine DVB OSD menu. Someone on the IRQ showed me a workaround, which has been working satisfactory, but I didn’t really think the devs would take much notice because I thought my feature request was a little too obscure. Well they proved me wrong!
So heres to Kaffeine, the best (and most buggy 
) media player for Linux!
