If I install a 400 FSB processor, what DDR RAM do I need?
Depends on what chipset is on your motherboard.
I only really know the intel chipsets and unless you have an 845 (DDR266 max) or the 865p(DDR333 max, though I think this board was dual channel?) you will be able to use DDR400 on both.
Anything later than a skt478 and the canterwood is all new to me though I think DDR2 is only on the skt775 processors.
