Upscale Video?

hi, does anyone know of any software that I can use to watch videos on my pc that can also upscale them to HD?

upscale - upscale from standard resoltuion to high def resoultion. you can do it on xbox using xbmc but I cant find a program that can do it for me on PC.

There is none that I know of. You’d be better off buying a standalone Upscaling DVD player. Some good ones to look out for are the Philips DVP5960, LG DNX190UH and the Denon DVD-1730.
