Bought a Sandisk Cruzer Titanium flash drive which worked fine for 6 weeks. Now when I plug it into the USB 2.0 port on the front of my machine Windows XP responds “USB Device Not Recognized.” The drive is not present in MY Computer or Disk Management but shows up as an “unknown device” in Device Manager. The drive does work, however, on another computer at work. The same problem also has started with an IPOD. Help!
Try reinstalling the drivers for your motherboard’s USB 2.0 ports.
