vob to avi

I am having trouble converting .vob to .avi…i am using winavi. I can get the video and audio to work well, however, the closed captioning shows up on the video…how can i remove the closed captioning?

oh, and also, is there a program that is better than winavi for what i am using it for?

I personally haven’t used any such tools so can’t give you much advice, other than point you to a list of software which allows vob to avi VideoHelp.com - Tools I hope it helps.

cool, thanks, does anybody know though how i can remove the closed captioning from the video?
