I am in the process of setting up a complex system of video recording/broadcast. I need to know what Equipment do I need for this setup. Trying to do this as inexpensively as possible.
I need a good Video Camera for the following uses:
- Live video recording directly to a separate DVD recorder. Recording distance is 20-30 feet from camera. Preferably AV Out for this one.
- Live Video Chat through Skype, hopefully Video able to be piped directly to Skype without separate software or hardware. Possibly USB connection?
What’s the best resolution for these two uses? I want the best quality that won’t overload the recorder or Skype.
If I need a Video Card to make this work easier, this is what I have for other hardware setup:
-
Primary monitor (showing Video Feed A) (Fed by Onboard Video out)
-
Secondary Monitor (showing Video Feed B)
-
Tertiary Video Out going to 2 Daisy Chained Projectors (showing Video Feed B)
(Output 2 and 3 are Cloned output from same Video card)
Only hardware port on video not being used is a S-Video Out from Video Card (not of much use)
Will I need another Video card for input?
