I was gonna get an X800GT but have noticed X800GTO cards for not much more - i have linked (i hope) to the cards and i see the GT has 475mhz clock speed and 8 pixel pipelines while the GTO has 400 mhz clock speed but 12 pixel pipelines. This means nothing to me and wanted to know if it is worth the extra £25 for the GTO.
4 extra pipelines are far more important than 75Mhz. MHz means very little in the scheme of things. You can always Overclock anyway. Go with the GTO man:)
Thanks for your advice - i ordered a sapphire x800gto - got it for £114 from ebuyer.co.uk which is cheaper than some places were selling the GT version. Now the fun starts next week when delivery arrives when i have to install new cpu, memory, video card etc onto mobo which i have never done before!
