Just been given a FX5500 128mb DDR. Is this better or worse than my current card, Geforce 4 Ti 4200 128mb?

Yeah the 5500 is a good bit better than the TI4200. Aside from being a direct X 9 capable card it sports a 128-bit interface which helps performance quite a bit. But specs are only so good so just try it with some games and see how it goes.
