I am doing a major upgrade with the major parts and I am kinda confident they are compatible but I thought before buying them and paying nearly €300 I should get another opinion.

Yes. I see no reason they wouldn’t. You might see if MSI recommends any particular DDR3 sets, but otherwise, it looks like a solid start.
