i went on gamespy, and tested to see if i can run call of duty 2, i never even got to reccomended, my cpu rates as 3.7ghz, but, apparently my graphics card aint good enough, it came up with this
so, why is my system not meeting reccomended on gamespy?
it reccomended 6800 or better when my card is better than the 6800 series of cards, so is it just gamespy trying to get people to buy nvidia cards?
h good, the only thing i seen that was better about it on xbox 360, was lighting effects, everyhting else weas dissapointing, so i will have to see when i get it for pc.

My system is a 2.8ghz P4, with 1gig of DDR 400 ram & with ONLY a 128meg Geforce 4 Ti 4400 !!.. and it runs as smooth as silk on full detail at 1024 x 768… about the only thing not turned on is the antialias.
So if it runs on my Card, it will DEFINATELY run beautifully on yours.
I found some notes from the game as to what cards its supports. here is the the list.

Brilliant Website Pelvis!!!.. but ive noticed that the status bar that tells you if your computer meets the recommended specs or not, is actually useless!.. I tested my system for Call Of Duty 2 and found that it was exaclty the same as yours!!?.. so then i ran a test for the game FEAR.. and found it read exactly the same way. it was no different!.
All it does really tell you on that bar is if your computer passes the test or not to run the game. The only real indicator as to how well it will run is to scroll down on that page and see what it says about each of your computers components.
Yeah as i said, it just gives a basic idea.
The bonus is of course it tells you what you’ve got in your rig, so n00bs that don’t know their specs will after the test.

That test is the exact same as the gamespy test, also gave me a fail on the graphics card, i think now the reason i dont get past recomended is becouse i dont have a nvidia 6800 or higher card from nvidia.
That test was made by nvidia fanboys i bet!
i went and used windows xp game advisor, on that i was way higher than the alienware, Hp and Dell computer.
