XP [finally] goes 64-bit

The OS us 64-bit users have all been waiting for.

check 'er out.

“MICROSOFT HAS released the final version of Windows XP 64 to manufacturing, meaning that those with machines that have 64-32 bit processors in from AMD and latterly Intel can now see what the extra addressing brings to the party.”

wonder if it’s just as bad as all MS’s other products

Jesus…that was fast?!

How long had the “beta” been out - the free trial? I’ve been using that on a separate hard disk for about two weeks now, and I’ve only had errors! Drivers, random crashese, DLL missing.

Gates must’ve worked overtime to iron out those bugs.

Shit yea its the 1st April! Forgot about that it was set to release in April.

Lol im sure it will be and excellent program

That would explain Windows NT…

First we have fun with Windows eX-tra Problems, then service pack 2 which created new problems, then XP-64 which will probably be as buggy as the beta (which proved to be slower than traditional XP). Longhorn had better get it right (in like 2008).
